One of the double bedrooms and the single bedroom are at the front of the property giving them views over St Ives, into the harbour and over to Porthmeor Beach. This view has been voted one of the best in Britain: people pause to take photos of the view from outside the house.
The sitting room is also located at the front of the property with the same panoramic views. There is a largish SMART TV, two comfortable sofas and chairs with a bookcase of adult and children’s books.
The second double bedroom has recently been redecorated – located at the rear of the property with views looking up the garden.
There is a bright bathroom with a large walk in shower.
The good sized kitchen which is very light and airy is also at the back with French doors opening out on to a small patio.
A high chair, baby bath, carriers and travel cot are available on request.
Bed linen, shower mats and tea towels are supplied. Generally, personal towels are not.
Changeover: Saturday to Saturday
There is a large garden on several levels affording some of the best views in town to be enjoyed at any time of the day or evening. The patio is ideal for breakfasting and morning coffee. Later in the day one can move up to the other levels – a secluded sun trap on one level with outdoor furniture – where one can sit and look out to Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives Bay and further up the coast. The other levels with tables and chairs afford the same views but also with the view over the house and into the harbour and town and across to the other beaches. It is ideal for entertaining or enjoying a sundowner.
Wifi and parking. Convenient parking space outside house gives peace of mind if one needs to take the car out.
The Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum and numerous other galleries are also only a few minutes’ walk away.
